Bao Bio

Bao Bio reduces pathogenic bacteria levels in any Koi pond without having to resort to chemicals.
Bao Bio is a specially cultured bacteria which effectively compete with Aeromonas and Pseudomonas bacteria for food source. As this food source is depleted by the Bao Bio culture, other pathogens reduce and die back as they are effectively starved of sufficient food.
Boa Bio has been developed by scientists in one of the premier universities of South Africa and was originally designed for fish farming applications to reduce fish mortalities and disease outbreaks in heavily stocked waters. It has been proven to be so effective that it has now been released for sale for all aquaculture applications.
Packaged in a handy tablet form, there are two different bacteria cultures which are dosed on alternate weeks to ensure correct and effective dosing. Each tablet dose is sufficient for 10000 litres (2200 gallons) and so one pack will treat over a 10 week period.
Not suitable for ponds using Ozone systems.
